Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Danill Kvyat will be taking an engine penalty this weekend in the Austrian Grand Prix.
Both drivers will be issued with a ten grid place penalty after deciding to take their fifth engine of the season this weekend in Austria.
Even though Red Bull believe they will not be competitive this weekend at their home race; they felt that taking the engine change where would benefit them in the long run.
Also, Ricciardo has a new chassis this weekend after encountering problems in Canada; even though his season has been one already that has tested the reliability of the RB11.
But the Red Bull drivers are not the only team or driver to be undertaking an penalty this weekend as McLaren-Honda driver Fernando Alonso also taking an penalty this weekend in Austria.
