it was announced yesterday that the Manor F1 team will run with a new-look livery from the British Grand Prix onwards after landing a prominent new sponsorship deal with Flex Box.
A leading manufacturer and supplier of shipping and storage containers, Flex Box comes on board as an official team partner, a bold relationship made very visible by prominent new branding that will see the sidepods go blue to join the previous red and white design.
In an statement to the media, Manor F1 Team Principal John Booth stated the following about the new partnership as follows:-
‘We are very pleased to welcome Flex Box to the Manor Marussia F1 Team. We are two very ambitious businesses, aspiring to dramatic growth on the international stage and making a major impact in our respective industries.
‘This is our second partnership announcement in just a few weeks, so these are exciting times in our team’s development. It is very rewarding for us to be able to welcome likeminded brands to join us on that journey and assist them in achieving their own global objectives.’
Flex Box joins Airbnb as Manor’s second team partner announcement in three races, with the new deal set to run until the end of the season.
In addition, Manor will bring new updates to the MR03B this weekend, its first such upgrade of the 2015 season after starting the 2015 season with a 2014 car.
