It was announced this morning that Red Bull is planning to unveil its 2016 car livery, alongside new racewear and teamwear, at an event in London on February 17 which is shortly before pre-season testing gets under way.
Red Bull last year penned a long-term deal with German sportswear brand Puma, and will officially launch the partnership with the presentation of its colours for the 2016 season.
Despite initially agreeing to part ways with the French manufacturer, Red Bull will continue with Renault power units in 2016, though the engines are to be to be rebranded as TAG Heuer.
Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat remain as the team’s two drivers, having both claimed podium finishes in 2015, and will be joined at the February 17 launch by team boss Christian Horner.
Red Bull has made no mention of a full car presentation, but Team Manager Jonathan Wheatley recently explained in an interview to GPUpdate.net that the outfit is “well ahead of schedule” with preparations.
